   Risk of flooding southwest

   Friday
   A band of heavy rain spreads east over Portugal and then over Spain,
   but far south remaining mostly dry. Some rain over west and south for
   France, drier elsewhere. Rain reaches far west of the British Isles,
   slowly moving east. High pressure will give a dry and bright day for
   the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, Belarus and Ukraine, while cloudier
   over Denmark. Some light rain for Norway, Sweden and Finland, similar
   to the Baltic States.
   A bright and dry day with sunny spells for Switzerland, Austria,
   Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Some light showers for Romania, more
   frequent over the Balkans.
   A few shower for the Balearics, otherwise dry with sunny spells. Some
   heavy, possibly thundery, showers at first for Sardinia and Corsica,
   soon moving over Italy and later in the evening over western Greece.
   Turkiye will see scattered showers mostly over the western parts. A
   scattering of showers is possible for Cyprus too.

   Saturday
   A drier day over Portugal with sunny spells developing. Early heavy
   rain for Spain, clearing from the west later in the day. Some showers
   or longer spells of rain for southern France, elsewhere drier brighter.
   Showers for the British Isles, mostly in west. Dry but increasingly
   cloudy for the Low Countries, Denmark, Germany, Belarus and Ukraine,
   while a few showers are possible later over southern Poland. Some light
   rain for northern Norway, northern Sweden and Finland, but mostly dry
   over the Baltic States.
   Dry with sunny spells for Switzerland and Austria, while cloudier over
   Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary with a few showers. Showery for Romania
   and the Balkans.
   Heavy and persistent rain with a risk of localized flooding for the
   Balearics, this area moving over Sardinia and Corsica later in the day.
   Italy will see a bright day with showers mostly in west and south
   later. A showery day for Greece, with some showers heavy and possibly
   thundery. A mostly dry and bright day for Turkiye. Rather cloudy for
   Cyprus.
