Some rain over west and south for France, drier elsewhere. Rain reaches far west of the British Isles, slowly moving east. High pressure will give a dry and bright day for the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, Belarus and Ukraine, while cloudier over Denmark. Some light rain for Norway, Sweden and Finland, similar to the Baltic States. A bright and dry day with sunny spells for Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Some light showers for Romania, more frequent over the Balkans. A few shower for the Balearics, otherwise dry with sunny spells. Some heavy, possibly thundery, showers at first for Sardinia and Corsica, soon moving over Italy and later in the evening over western Greece. Turkiye will see scattered showers mostly over the western parts. A scattering of showers is possible for Cyprus too. Saturday A drier day over Portugal with sunny spells developing. Early heavy rain for Spain, clearing from the west later in the day. Some showers or longer spells of rain for southern France, elsewhere drier brighter. Showers for the British Isles, mostly in west. Dry but increasingly cloudy for the Low Countries, Denmark, Germany, Belarus and Ukraine, while a few showers are possible later over southern Poland.
