   Fair across much of the continent with extensive hot sunshine south;
   patchy rain for the Baltics and Scandinavia.

   Friday
   Lots of sunshine and hot weather in Spain and Portugal, a few isolated
   showers in Spain. Some cloud around the Balearics but sunshine and hot
   temperatures across Sardinia and Corsica and into Italy. These sunny
   and dry conditions stretch over the Baltic States into Greece and
   T├╝rkiye as well. A notable northerly wind across the central Aegean
   Sea.
   Fair in France with plenty of sunshine and warm-to-hot temperatures.
   Northernmost areas may see more cloud, this cloud extending to parts of
   the Low Countries and northern Germany. Central and southern Germany
   will be dry with sunshine. Some cloud extends into Poland as well where
   morning showers are expected north, but central and southern areas
   should be substantially sunny. Austria and Switzerland may have
   scattered showers in the afternoon but should be mostly dry and
   similarly sunny. Hungary is dry with sunshine. Czechia and
   southeastward through Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania will be sunny and
   warm.
   Breezy with sun and showers in Denmark. Scattered showers across Norway
   and Sweden with some heavy in the north and west, but good sun breaks
   between showers. Heavy showers in the Baltic States with local
   lightning strikes possible. Showers too for central and southern
   Finland, good sun breaks in the north.

   Saturday
   Remaining hot and sunny across Iberia. A few afternoon showers in
   eastern Spain and the Pyrenees mountains. Some cloud around the
   Balearic Islands. A hot sunny day from Italy eastward across the
   southeast of Europe into T├╝rkiye.
   Mostly fine in France, some scattered cloud around with a few showers
   in southern areas. Scattered cloud and often sunny for most countries
   across the northern and eastern continent. The Netherlands and northern
   parts of Germany and Poland may see more cloud and will be more mild
   than central areas of Europe. A few local showers are possible in the
   Alps. Patchy cloud and more mild in Ukraine and Belarus.
   Strong westerly winds across the British Isles. Some showers drift into
   west Denmark, more frequent and extensive across most of south and west
   Norway. Most of Sweden will be dry with a mix of cloud and sun except
   northern areas which will see showers, this band of showers extending
   through central Finland. Some showers in the Baltic States as well, but
   largely sunny between and away from showery areas.
