   Heavy rain France to Alps and southern Germany

   Sunday
   A dry and sunny day for Portugal. Over northern Spain, heavy showers,
   thundery downpours for the Pyrenees to northeast Spain. Sunnier in
   southwest Spain. A swathe of heavy rain over central-southern France,
   drier in the north but showery bursts in the northwest of France. A
   rather cloudy day for the Balearics with heavy and possibly thundery
   showers arriving later. Increasingly cloudy over Sardinia and Corsica
   but staying dry. A sunny day for most of Italy, Greece, Turkiye and
   Cyprus.
   Cloudy day for Switzerland with heavy rain toward the west. Drier for
   Austria. A rather cloudy day for the Low Countries with some light rain
   at times. Over Germany, cloudy skies with rain in the west. Local
   showers for western Poland, moving into the Baltic states later. Dry
   and quite warm with sunshine for most of central-eastern Europe from
   Czechia to the Black Sea.
   Cloudy and windy over Denmark with a spell of rain clearing later. Low
   pressure over Scandinavia brings heavy rain advancing north over Sweden
   and into Finland. Showery bursts for north and west Norway and feeling
   chilly.

   Monday
   Dry and sunny for much of Spain and Portugal, but showery rain affects
   the north coast. Scattered showers for the Balearics. Thundery
   downpours transfer eastwards over Corsica, Sardinia and northern Italy.
   Some sustained heavy rain north Italy into the Alps through the day,
   extending through Switzerland and western Austria, drier to the east
   and into Hungary. Warm sunshine and extensively dry from the south of
   Italy to the Balkans, Greece, Turkiye and around the Black Sea.
   Areas of heavy rain for southern France, drier to the north, but local
   showers near the English Channel. Breezy and cool for the Low Countries
   with brief showers. Rain affects the southeast of Germany and into
   Czechia, heavy particularly in the morning. Dry but cool for north and
   western Germany.
   Breezy for Denmark. Milder for Poland with patchy light rain. Chilly
   north to northwesterly winds for Scandinavia, frequent showers in
   Norway and Finland. Drier for much of Sweden and southeast Norway.
