   Largely dry central-northern Europe, some wintry showers Scandinavia

   Monday
   Expect afternoon showers over Portugal and Spain, some on the heavy
   side. Some heavy showers for southern France, drier and brighter
   further north. A wet day for Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia
   with some heavy rain at times. Czechia will see some rain in south.
   Some heavy showers for Romania. Drier and brighter for the Balkans.
   Bright with a few showers over the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica.
   Heavy and possibly thundery showers for Italy, perhaps with a longer
   spell of heavy rain in the north. A few afternoon showers for Greece.
   Turkiye will see a mostly dry and bright day, but with showers in far
   east. Some showers for Cyprus.
   A dry and bright day with sunny spells for the Low Countries, Germany
   and northern parts of Poland. Dry but rather cloudy over Denmark. Some
   showers for Norway, Sweden and Finland, perhaps wintry in north. Sunny
   for the Baltic States and Belarus. Outbreaks of rain for Ukraine.

   Tuesday
   Southwest Spain and Portugal will be dry and warm, whilst some showers
   affect the east and north of Spain, some heavy around the Pyrenees.
   Afternoon showers over the islands of the western Mediterranean and
   southern France. Heavy downpours increasingly widely for central and
   northern Italy and the Balkan states, also extending into Romania.
   Scattered afternoon showers for mainland Greece. Largely dry across the
   Greek islands and Turkiye.
   Cool northeasterly breezes across central-northern Europe, but dry
   conditions over northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands and much of
   Germany with sunny spells. Dry too for Poland, Czechia and Slovakia.
   Showery rain for the Baltic states for a time as a front passes
   southeastwards. Sunny spells and scattered showers for Norway and
   Sweden. Chilly northerly winds for Finland, but becoming dry after
   early rain clears south.
