   Unsettled much of central and western Europe, drier in the east

   Wednesday
   Rain for Portugal and much of Spain on Wednesday. Showers for the
   Balearics. Scattered showers as well in Corsica and Sardinia. Italy may
   have a few showers in western Italy but dry and fine in the east.
   Greece abd Turkey will be dry with sunny spells.
   Some showers for central and western France. fair in the east with
   sunny spells. Rain for the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fair for
   most of the rest of Germany and Poland. Hungary and Austria are dry
   with sunny spells as will be Switzerland.
   Breezy with rain and cloud in Denmark. Cloudy and damp in the Baltic
   States. brighter and chilly for Finland. Rain and some cloud in the
   south of Sweden, fair in central and northern parts. Rain and windy in
   the south of Norway. Wintry showers further north.

   Thursday
   Heavy rain in the far northwest of Spain. The rest of Spain and
   Portugal should be dry with some sunshine. Fair for the Balearics,
   sunny spells and dry. Heavy, thundery rain in Corsica and Sardinia.
   Rain in northern Italy but fair to the south. Greece and Turkey will be
   dry with good spells of sunshine.
   Windy with gales and rain in northern France, fair through central and
   southern areas. The Low Countries and Germany will be fair with sunny
   spells. Rain in the far north of Poland, fair for other areas.
   Scattered showers for Hungary and these extend into Austria and
   Switzerland.
   Dry with sunny spells in Denmark. Rain and cloud in the Baltic States
   and Finland. Further rain in northern Sweden and northern Norway.
   Brighter for the south of Scandinavia.
