   the south

   Wednesday
   Rain for northern Portugal and the north of Spain. Fair for central nd
   southern Iberia, good spells of sunshine and dry. Fair for the
   Balearics. Scattered showers in Corsica and Sardinia. heavier showers
   for Italy and Greece, a risk of thunderstorms. Further heavy showers in
   western Greece, fair in the east. Scattered showers west and south.
   Wet and windy in France, heavy periods of rain in central and northern
   areas, drier in the far south. Mainly fair for the Low Countries. Rain
   southern and central Germany, dry in the north. Scattered showers in
   Poland. Hungary will be fair with sunny spells as will be Austria.
   Switzerland seeing heavy showers and thunderstorms.
   Sunny spells and mostly dry inDenmark. The Baltic States will be dry
   with lots of sunshine too. Windy in Finland and dry too. Showers or
   periods of rain in Sweden, heavy at times. Further cloud and rain in
   Norway.

   Thursday
   Showers and heavy periods of rain in northwest Iberia. Fair for much of
   the rest of Iberia with sunny spells. Scattered showers in the
   Balearics. Further heavy showers and rain in Italy. Greece will be fair
   with sunny spells. Rain and heavy showers or thunderstorms in Turkey.
   Windy and unsettled in France with rain and heavy showers. Severe gales
   and heavy, thundery rain in the Low Countries. Further showers and rain
   for Germany and much of western Poland. Heavy rain too across Hungary
   and Austria with further heavy thunderstorms for Switzerland.
   Gales and heavy rain affecting Denmark too. Periods of rain for the
   Baltic States and Finland. Sunshine and showers in Sweden. Further
   sunny spells and scattered showers for Norway.
