Slack high pressure over western Europe brings mostly settled
conditions and continental sunshine here. More unsettled north and
   east.

   Thursday
Scattered showers in central and eastern areas of Spain. Bright and dry
in Portugal with sunny spells, similar in north Spain. Odd showers in
the Balearics but otherwise mostly sunny. Heavy and thundery showers
and rain in the far south of Italy, a few of these just slipping the
east coasts of Sardinia and Corsica. Brighter and dry in North Italy.
Sunny for the northern Balkans, rain in the south and in western
Greece, this rain likely becoming heavy through the day. Drier to the
east and in T├╝rkiye where sun likely extensive.
Fair for France and mostly sunny, just some cloud in the north. Periods
of drizzle and light rain in the Low Countries and Germany as well as
Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Drier in southern Poland and Germany.
Brighter across Switzerland and Austria with sunny spells, a few light
showers possible over the mountains. Hungary similarly bright with
burst of sunshine. Some morning rain in south Romania and Bulgaria,
this largely clearing for fine weather.
Mixed cloud and sun in Denmark, some periods of light rain will come
and go. Rain in the Baltic States, most of it patchy. Sunny spells will
develop in Finland and it should be dry. Often bright and Sweden, a
greater chance of cloud in the south. Rain and snow in central and
northern Norway, drier in the south. Cold across all Scandinavia with a
brisk westerly wind, particularly strong in the far coastal north.

   Friday
A mostly sunny day across Iberia though heavy showers will develop in
central and east Spain. Fine for the central Mediterranean islands.
Showers in central and southern Italy, dry and sunny to the north.
Heavy rain along the Adriatic Coast south of Croatia, some rain pushing
inland across Serbia, North Macedonia, and Greece. Drier with sunny
spells in the north Balkans and Slovenia. Drier in east Greece and
   T├╝rkiye with sunshine.
A sunny day for France and Switzerland. Cloudier across the Low
Countries and Germany with some bright or sunny spells; local drizzly
rain is likely in northern Germany, Poland, and Czechia. Drier Austria,
Slovakia, and Hungary with sunny spells. Rain arriving into western
Bulgaria and southwest Romania, elsewhere dry with a mix of cloud and
   sunshine.
A brighter day for the Baltic States though showers are likely along
the coasts. A mixed day for Denmark with sunny breaks but also spells
of rain. Sunny for Finland and most of Sweden, just some scattered
showers and snow in the south. Southern Norway will be fine, with snow
and wind continuing to affect central and northern areas.
