   Thundery rain north, fine and hot Mediterranean

   Tuesday
   A slack low pressure pattern exists over central and western Europe.
   Thundery showers increasingly form over northeast Spain, west and
   southern France, widespread downpours by the afternoon, though the
   Mediterranean coast of France may just escape dry. Showers near the
   north coast of Spain, but central and southern Spain and Portugal stays
   dry and hot. Corsica and Sardinia, Sicily and much of Italy will be dry
   with hot sunshine. Some thundery showers for northern Italy toward the
   Alps. Widely showery through Switzerland and western Austria by
   afternoon.
   Hot and sunny for Greece, T├╝rkiye, the Balkan states, Romania and
   Bulgaria, one or two isolated showers. Southern Germany through Czechia
   and Slovakia largely dry, but further north becomes increasingly
   showery, through the Netherlands to Poland. Thundery bursts of rain for
   southern Scandinavia, some sustained downpours into the Baltic states.
   Further north over Norway and Sweden stays dry and warm with high
   pressure situated to the north. Local thundery showers for the Lapland
   area, but dry for much of Finland.

   Wednesday
   Hot and sunny for most of Spain and Portugal. This fine weather extends
   through the Balearics and much of Italy, although a few showers in
   northern Italy. Hot and fair too in Italy and Greece.
   Cloud and a few showers in the far north of France. Most of the country
   is going to be fair though with lots of sunshine. Heavy and thundery
   showers for the Low Countries and most of central and northern Germany
   as well as northern Poland. The rest of Poland and much of Hungary
   should be dry. Austria and Switzerland will have some showers.
   Heavy and thundery rain in Denmark. A few showers in the Baltic States.
   Finland will be fair with sunny spells. Rain in the far south of Norway
   and Sweden. Dry and fair for central and northern Sweden, good spells
   of sunshine here.
