   Thundery central Europe
   Hot and dry south

   Warm and thundery south Scandinavia, dry in far north

   Monday
   A dry and mostly sunny day for Iberia, only scattered light showers
   north. Substantially dry and sunny across the central Mediterranean
   islands, only light scattered showers central and south Italy - heavier
   and more frequent showers north, particularly near the mountains.
   Isolated light showers in the Balkan states, otherwise sunny. Sunny too
   for Greece and T├╝rkiye, a notable northerly breeze through the Aegean
   Sea.
   Patchy showery rain through France, heavier and more frequent east
   areas. Extensive heavy showery rain in southern Germany and
   Switzerland, as well as mountainous Austria. Some heavy showers extend
   north into west Germany and the Low Countries. A notable westerly
   breeze in northern France and coastal Belgium/Netherlands. Showers more
   patchy in eastern Germany and Poland, local heavy spots toward east
   Poland. Drier Slovakia and Hungary with patchy cloud. Heavy thundery
   rain west Ukraine, Belarus and Romania. Largely dry further south
   towards the Black Sea.
   Heavy showery rain across most of southern Scandinavia and Denmark.
   Central to north Scandinavia will remain warm to hot and widely sunny.
   Wet too in the Baltics with risk of thunderstorms though Latvia may
   escape fairly dry and sunny.

   Tuesday
   Hot and sunny in Spain, Portugal and much of France, influenced by high
   pressure to the southwest. Some showers around the Pyrenees and the
   Alps. Isolated showers for the spine of Italy and inland over Greece
   into the Balkan states, but most of the Mediterranean will be fine, hot
   and sunny. Thundery showers by afternoon inland Turkiye and over
   Romania and Bulgaria.
   Breezy with showers for Belgium and the Netherlands, some persistent
   rain later. Shallow low pressure over north-central Europe. Heavy
   thundery rain for eastern Germany into south and western Poland.
   Showery bursts forming too through Switzerland and western Austria.
   Thundery rain affects southern Norway and Sweden, also Denmark,
   likewise the Baltic states. Further north across Scandinavia will be
   dry and very warm with high pressure positioned to the northwest.
