   Much of central Europe towards the north and east will see plenty of
   rain, often heavy with local thunderstorms. Southernmost areas tending
   to settle slightly.

   Sunday
   Fine and sunny for Portugal and Spain with afternoon showers in the
   mountainous north, local heavy spots. Sunny in the Balearics, only
   patchy cloud here. Heavy morning showers pass east across Sardinia and
   Corsica into Italy where they may grow into thunderstorms in central
   areas; north of Italy also seeing heavy showers. Only isolated showers
   in southern Italy. Dry and fine for the Balkan States though some cloud
   building over the central Balkans. A sunny dry day for Greece and
   T├╝rkiye.
   Mostly sunny in France with scattered showers in central and southern
   areas building through the day. Afternoon showers developing widely
   across the Alps with decent sun breaks well away from the mountains.
   Widespread showery rain across north Germany with local thunderstorms,
   these into Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Some lighter showers extend
   west into the Low Countries. Fewer showers and more sun in Hungary
   eastward to the Black Sea. Ukraine and Belarus substantially dry and
   sunny, only some afternoon showers westernmost areas.
   Sun and showers for Denmark and south Sweden, an easterly breeze here
   too. Showery from central Norway eastward across central Sweden into
   southern Finland, risk of local thunderstorms forming. Sunny and warm
   northern Scandinavia. Heavy showers into Latvia and Estonia, lighter
   and primarily in the afternoon in Lithuania.

   Monday
   A dry and mostly sunny day for Iberia, only scattered light showers
   north. Substantially dry and sunny across the central Mediterranean
   islands, only light scattered showers central and south Italy - heavier
   and more frequent showers north, particularly near the mountains.
   Isolated light showers in the Balkan states, otherwise sunny. Sunny too
   for Greece and T├╝rkiye, a notable northerly breeze through the Aegean
   Sea.
   Patchy showery rain through France, heavier and more frequent east
   areas. Extensive heavy showery rain in southern Germany and
   Switzerland, as well as mountainous Austria. Some heavy showers extend
   north into west Germany and the Low Countries. A notable westerly in
   northern France and coastal Belgium/Netherlands. Showers more patchy in
   Germany and Poland, only local heavy spots. Drier Slovakia and Hungary
   with patchy cloud. Heavy thundery rain west Ukraine and Belarus,
   isolate showers or largely dry further south towards the Black Sea.
   Heavy showery rain across most of southern Scandinavia and Denmark.
   Central to north Scandinavia will remain warm to hot and widely sunny.
   Wet too in the Baltics with risk of thunderstorms though Latvia may
   escape fairly dry and sunny.
