   Temperatures easing north
   Showers over mountains

   Temperatures cooling north of the Alps with breezy wet weather in the
   far north.

   Thursday
   A sunny and hot day for Portugal. Same for Spain but with some heavy
   and thundery showers in the north. Sunny over the Balearics, while a
   few afternoon showers are expected for Sardinia and Corsica. Italy will
   see a sunny morning, though heavy showers will soon build over the
   Alps. Some showers will build down the spine of the country as well as
   the day goes. Sunny and hot for the Balkan States and Greece. A hot
   sunny day for west T├╝rkiye and Cyprus.
   A scattering of afternoon showers over southern France, notably in the
   mountains, otherwise a sunny and hot day. Dry and sunny for the Low
   Countries and feeling cooler than previous days. Some heavy showers for
   southern Germany, mainly in south, some spreading over Poland later -
   northern areas here be sunny and feel cooler than previous days. Heavy
   and possibly thundery showers for Switzerland, Austria, and Czechia
   while drier conditions are expected over Hungary and Slovakia. Sunny
   for Romania and Bulgaria.
   Dry and sunny for Denmark, strong winds here in the morning. Some early
   heavy showers for Norway and Sweden with wind, spreading over Finland
   later in the day. Mostly sunny with a few showers for the Baltic States
   and increasingly windy. Dry and very warm for Belarus and Ukraine.

   Friday
   A hot sunny day for Iberia, heavy showers with spots of thunder for
   north Spain afternoon. Sunny for the Balearics, a few afternoon showers
   for Sardinia and Corsica. Scattered showers for northern Italy, heavier
   towards the south, though good sun breaks. Largely dry for the Balkans,
   a few showers into Croatia, possibly heavy in Slovenia. Hot and sunny
   for Greece and T├╝rkiye.
   Sunny and warm in France, some showers south and east. Cloud builds in
   from the north later and spreads across the Low Countries and north
   Germany after a sunny morning. Sunnier south Germany, Czechia, and
   Poland. Showers over the Alps spread east through Slovakia, east
   Poland, into west Ukraine. Sunny and hot in Romania and Bulgaria.
   A brisk wind across the British Isles with heavy showery rain north. A
   cool westerly breeze across southern Scandinavia and Estonia. Showery
   across Denmark, as well as Norway and Sweden, some sunny breaks between
   showers. Cloud in the Baltic States and rain in Finland slowly clears,
   giving way to mild sun.
