   Wet and windy central and northern Europe

   Sunday
   A dry and rather sunny day for Portugal and Spain. A showery day for
   France with a longer spell of rain in north later. Bands of rain spread
   east over the British Isles. A dry start for the Baltic States but
   expect outbreaks of rain later. Showers for Germany, more frequent over
   the west. Outbreaks of heavy rain for Poland. Showery for Denmark,
   southern Norway, southern Sweden and southern Finland. A dry start for
   the Low Countries, but expect some rain later. Outbreaks of rain for
   western Belarus and western Ukraine.
   A cloudy and wet morning for Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia
   and Hungary with outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy at first. Through
   the afternoon and evening the rain will move over the Balkans and
   Romania.
   A dry and sunny day for the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Some
   showers for northern and central Italy, but sunny over the south.
   Outbreaks of rain for north Greece, but elsewhere sunny. A dry and
   sunny day for Turkiye and Cyprus.

   Monday
   Scattered showers for northern Spain today. Fair for the rest of Iberia
   with good spells of sunshine. A fair day in the Balearics, Corsica and
   Sardinia. Italy stays fair, more sunshine to come here. Some rain in
   Greece, although southern and western coastal areas will be dry.
   Showers in central areas of Turkey.
   France has some showery rain in central areas. Brighter north and south
   with sunny spells. Windy in the Low Countries with heavy showers and
   some further showers in northern Germany too. Rain in the far northwest
   of Poland, sunny and fair for most areas. Hungary and Austria will be
   fine and dry with lots of sunshine. Further sunshine in Switzerland but
   cloud and rian in the far west.
   Gales for Denmark, wet too with heavy periods of rain. Further rain in
   Sweden, gales too. Further wind but brighter in Finland. Rain for the
   far south of Norway, a few showers in the north.
