Re: Freelance work Dominique, Ah, yes. The best times for interviewing... I don't know what the best times are for the person being interviewed but your 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. seems logical. I like Sunday afternoons best for a number of reasons. First, people are surprised when you say you'll come out on a Sunday. On weekends folks seem to be really relexed and usually in a good mood. Where as if I try to squeeze myself into their busy work week, I can end up feeling rushed and I don't feel I get my best interviews if I'm rushed. I also like weekends because my husband is home to watch the kids and I can take my time. I get home and write up the story while he is still here to keep them out of my hair. But next year all my kids will be in school full time and this won't be so much of a problem. As things are now though, I'll do an interview just about any time, any where. ;-) I need work and I need it yesterday! I sent out nine letters to local editors this past week. I don't know how effective the letters will be but I thought they were worth a try anyway.
