Apple devices currently hold the top honor in our guide to the best laptops,
smartwatches and tablets. But the companyΓÇÖs gear isnΓÇÖt cheap ΓÇö and you
wonΓÇÖt find sales at AppleΓÇÖs own website either. But that doesnΓÇÖt mean
you can only get a new iPad or MacBook at full price. Other retailers like
Amazon, Best Buy, Target and B&H Photo often host considerable discounts,
sometimes on the order of a few hundred dollars in savings. And now that
Amazon's Prime Day is just around the corner, we're starting to see some
early deals on Apple gear.

At Engadget, weΓÇÖve tested and reviewed every major device Apple has
released ΓÇö including the brand new MacBook Air M4, the Mac Studio M4 Max, a
new iPad Air M3, and of course the iPhone 16. One thing to note is that
itΓÇÖs harder to find unlocked current-model iPhones on sale ΓÇö for those
youΓÇÖll need to go directly to AppleΓÇÖs site or buy through a wireless
carrier. But deals on new AirPods, Apple Watches, iPads and Macs pop up
nearly every week. We diligently track whatΓÇÖs out there and put the best
Apple deals right here. We update this guide regularly with the latest
prices, so if youΓÇÖre thinking of buying an Apple product, check here first
to see if you can save some cash.

Best Apple AirPods deals

Apple AirPods 4 for $99 at Amazon ($30 off): AppleΓÇÖs wireless earbuds don't
have the best sound quality or battery life, and this entry-level model lacks
wireless charging, Find My tracking and onboard volume controls. But it still
gets you tons of Apple-friendly features ΓÇö from fast pairing with iCloud
devices to spatial audio to hands-free Siri ΓÇö and its lightweight design
should fit most ears better than previous AirPods. If you truly hate the
feeling of headphones that jut into your ear canal, they sound a bit cleaner
and more balanced than most open-back alternatives. Just keep in mind that
this design wonΓÇÖt block much outside noise. Also at Best Buy and Target.

Apple AirPods 4 with ANC for $149 at Amazon ($30 off): This variant of the
AirPods 4 adds ANC, a wireless charging case and Find My tracking support.
They keep the same open-style design, so the ANC isn't as effective as what
you'd get with a pair that fully seals off the ear canal, but it makes the
earbuds more useful in noisy areas all the same. We gave this pair a score of
86 in our review. Also at Walmart, Best Buy and Target.

Best iPad deals

Apple iPad Air (13-inch, M3) for $699 at B&H Photo ($100 off): We gave the 13-
inch iPad Air a review score of 89 when it was released in March. It has a
bigger and slightly brighter display than its 11-inch counterpart; otherwise,
the two slates are the same. If you plan to keep your iPad hooked up to a
keyboard, the extra screen space is lovely for taking in movies and
multitasking for work.

Apple iPad Pro (11-inch, M4) for $899 at Best Buy ($100 off): The iPad Pro is
more tablet than most people need, but itΓÇÖs the ultimate Apple slate for
those who can stomach its price tag. ItΓÇÖs wonderfully thin, its OLED
display is one of the best weΓÇÖve seen on a consumer device and its M4 chip
can handle virtually anything youΓÇÖd ever do on an iPad. ItΓÇÖs also the
only Apple tablet with Face ID, plus it has a better speaker setup than the
iPad Air. We gave it a score of 84 in our review, with the only real drawback
being how expensive it is.

Apple iPad Pro (13-inch, M4) for $1,179 at B&H Photo ($120 off): The 13-inch
iPad Pro has all the same specs as the 11-inch model, only it's bigger and
more expensive. It may be worth the extra cost if you plan to multitask
regularly or just want more screen space for enjoying movies.

Best MacBook and Mac deals

Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) for $849 ($150 off): Apple's latest MacBook
Air is another device that only came out in March but already has a modest
discount at some retailers. One of the things we appreciated most in our
review was the slight price drop for the base configuration. Instead of
starting at $1,099 like the 13-inch M3 MacBook Air, the M4 starts at $999.
Add in this discount and the fact that the ultraportable packs Apple's latest
M-series chip, and you've got yourself a pretty good deal on a capable laptop
ΓÇö one that happens to be our favorite laptop overall. Also at B&H Photo.

Apple MacBook Air (15-inch, M4) for $1,049 at Amazon ($150 off): The 15-inch
MacBook Air is nearly identical to the smaller version but features more
robust speakers and a more spacious trackpad alongside its roomier display.
Also at B&H.

Apple iMac 24-inch (M4) for $1,193 ($106 off): For an all-in-one solution,
the M4 iMac is a good pick thanks to its powerful performance, standard 16GB
of RAM and improved webcam. Just note that it only comes in the 24-inch
screen size option. It dropped about $15 cheaper in May, but this is still a
decent savings compared to buying from Apple directly. Also at B&H for
$1,199.

MacBook Air (M3, 15-inch) for $899 at B&H ($400 off): The last-gen M3 MacBook
Air has officially been discontinued, but it remains a superb laptop while
the last bits of stock remain available. We gave this 15-inch model a score
of 90 in in our review ΓÇö outside of its slower chip (which is still plenty
fast for everyday use), marginally improved camera and inability to power two
external displays with the lid open, it's virtually identical to the newer
version.

Best Apple accessories deals

Apple Pencil (USB-C) for $69 at Amazon ($10 off): This more affordable Apple
Pencil doesnΓÇÖt support pressure sensitivity, but it still makes for a
useful stylus for the basics. If youΓÇÖre a casual note-taker and can live
without wireless charging, youΓÇÖll save a few bucks by picking this one up.
Also at Best Buy, Walmart and Target.

Apple AirTags (4-pack) for $75 at Amazon ($25 off): We think most iPhone
owners will appreciate how easy it is to keep track of things like wallets,
keys or handbags with a set of AirTags. These Bluetooth trackers monitor the
location of your belongings so you can check in on them using the Find My
app. Those with newer iPhones can also use UWB technology to get turn-by-turn
directions to find their stuff when the AirTag is within close range. Also at
Walmart.
