MP>Same, but I do probably complain more about the summer heat than the harsh
  >winter weather. At least with the latter, I know the bugs are getting
  >killed, and I can add layers. In the Summer, the bugs are loving it and
  >there are only so many layers one can take off before it becomes impossible

I also have a lake (Georgian Bay) out front if it gets too hot, probably
adds to my decision not to buy an a/c unit.. B)

Funny what we get used to though. In the distant past on this board we
used to chat a lot with a number of people from Australia and it was
always fun to hear them complain about extreme cold when the temps.
dropped below 40f, and some had never seen snow in their lives unless
they headed into the mountains.. I also recall a comment from one
saying he was waiting for the temperature to hit 85f so he could go
surfing, since anything lower than that was too cold for swimming..

That said, we all adapt, and quicker than one might expect.. Not long
ago in winter I'd have been thrilled to have 'hot' days up around 70f
but after the recent heat wave here, I find myself feeling cold the
last few days as it dropped to the high 60's here. Suddenly 67f or so
is not light T-Shirt weather anymore... B)
