Yes, it spun off of Father Brown, obviously. It was just this past year
they showed her own show but I don't know if it will be back or not yet.

I wasn't too sure about it early-on but it sort of grew on me,
although it's either ending or going through some big changes
given this past year's episodes I think..

I never saw the Belgian version, and I might tend to skip shows
with subtitles at the best of times...   B)

If you pay attention there are an amazing number of shows on these
days that are english versions of shows from other countries.

Some of the older ones are Three's Company, The Good Doctor,
The Office, All in the Family.. This past year I noticed DOC
was based an an Italian Show.
