MP>Last of the Summer Wine was called the "longest-running British Comedy" RM> I think I saw a few episodes of that quite a while back, the name rings > a bell, but it didn't stay available for long. MP>That is too bad. Our local PBS network has been carrying that one for at lea >5 years now. It is one of the best, IMHO. I just had a look at info on that online and I don't really remember the cast members I saw there so I couldn't have seen too many episodes. I saw the other day we still have a few British shows still running here. Midsomer Murders is still on and it's not bad, but I've probably seen them all by now. Others that are usually available are Father Brown and Sister Boniface Mysteries which one may or may not like. Some a little more serious... Proeessor T, Miss Scarlet and the Duke, Sherlock.. There are a few others than come and go that I can't think of at the moment.. --- * SLMR Rob * Have your computer call my computer and we'll do lunch * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (618:250/1) |
