RM> I tested it at about 12mbps Download and 2.6mbps Upload speeds. AA>For being in a remote area, that's excellent. How close is >your nearest tower? AA>I get 4Mbps DL. Upload is about 1/10 of that. I use the web site Fast.com to test speed. They usually do a 60 or 70 meg download to test that speed and there's a second option for More Info that repeats that for 10 meg or so to check Upload speed. And wow.. I just ran that on my Laptop to verify the address and This time I got 24mbps / 8.4mbps Actually I found some old tests and found I've hit 23 / 7.7 mbps in the past too. I'm not super close to the tower that my phone uses here, which was verified by a Bell repairman. I assumed I was using a closer but smaller recently installed tower but he tested it and said it's using a different tower that's probably about 7 or 8 miles away as the crow flies.
